Another little bit of bad news. We were recently advised that our application for funding from National Geographic was unsuccessful.  We didn't have high expectations for this one but was still bad news to receive. Despite the two bits of bad news we have had recently, we are still feeling upbeat because of the potential collaboration with the Griffith Inclusive Futures  (the new Disability Beacon at Griffith University).  There are a few grants that we are still waiting to hear from, so we will keep chipping along with setting up the platform. People who live with a disability, their carers and people with an established connection to disability in Australia can join the platform for free.  This membership provides access to the Resource Library and our monthly webinars.
