Member update: Tania Mullan – September 2022

Colourful words that state, "In life the only disability is a bad attitude".

“I’m sticking to the books atm as my health has been topsy turvy lately”.

“PromoI self published my first book in November last year, after becoming redundant from an inclusive workplace at the beginning of covid.

I began by advertising on Fiverr and Upwork for an illustrator and editor and found a lovely lady in Namibia. I went with uploading ebook versions on Kindle and Ingram Spark to begin with but this year am branching out to a print run.

I now have a contact in Melbourne and a possible lead here in Brisbane to also assist with the creation of an activity/colouring-in book, stickers and a bookmark.

I just finished creating a flyer last week to send out to schools in hope I can create some interest in a presell orders leading up to Xmas.

But I am on final stretch of my second book that I have been working on this year: Adventures of Koko Possum & Ma-Ma Ilama “On the Trail in NZ”.

This will involve a makeover of my author site to create an e-commerce site and order login page for potential school/kindy orders. Trying to source help with that atm – any leads would be appreciated! I’m currently using wix.” [We are introducing Tania to the platform’s web developers.]
