On the 10th of June, the team got together to discuss how to progress the discussions around the link between the Griffith Inclusive Futures: Reimagining Disability and the platform.  Also discussed was the formal launch event for the platform.  While all agreed that a strong connection was the way to go, there are some details to work through.

What seems likely at this stage is that the connection will be first, a collaboration between the two (e.g. for grant applications, research, research outputs and education/training), with the hope that this might build into a formal partnership.

We have commenced work on the document that describes the collaboration and articulates that the staff and volunteers of the platform must adhere to Griffith University policy in a number of key areas (e.g. conflicts of interest, corruption and fraud, privacy and the code of conduct).  By having such a statement, it makes it easier for the two groups to work together.
