It is with great enthusiasm we want to congratulate Dylan Alcott for being named as Australian of the year for 2022.  We know we are only a small voice in the throng, but it is thoroughly deserved and we say a hearty HUZZAH! You are a great role model and a perfect example for Australia of an engaged and highly successful Australian who lives with a disability. Dylan's foundation is incredibly impressive and is just one of the ways he is making a huge contribution to Australia.   Australians who live with a disability constitute close to 20% of Australian society, but no one could claim you receiving this accolade is not thoroughly deserved and merited by all that you do and the contribution you are making to Australian society.  We hope this heralds the start of a chapter where Australians who live with a disability are celebrated for the contribution they make.
