Our original plan had been in February to conduct a free community event with the amazing Janine Shepherd.  The Queensland Deputy Premier, Steven Miles had agreed to be the VIP at that event.  We have decided, given the scourge of Omicron, we have decided to cancel and reschedule the event, not least because a few of us are classified as high or live with persons who are high risk. Our plan was to use the event to talk about disability entrepreneurship  and the platform. We are currently in discussions with Steven's office and Griffith University's Marketing and Communication looking at rescheduling for the near future.  Griffith has suggested we conduct a separate launch event tied to the University's planned disability employment events.  This is very invigorating and exciting.
