Long-term followers of the platform will remember that we were previously successful in an earlier round of the scheme.  Even though it was less than we hoped, the monies allowed us to commission a professional video of Patron, Dinesh Palipana OAM, talking about why he is excited to be involved in the platform.  A new round of the scheme was open earlier this year and we expressed interest in participating in a digital briefing about the event.

Unfortunately, our application was unsuccessful.  This is incredibly disappointing.

The team knows from personal experience Bendigo Bank has a massive, and thoroughly deserved, reputation for supporting community activities and services.

Last time they received a staggering number of applications.  Between the floods, COVID-19 and bushfires, the same was true for this round and thus was incredibly competitive. We entered this round with realistic hopes, believing resolutely in Col Chandler’s idea – refined and polished by our Advisory Board, and committed t0 the transformative potential of disability entrepreneurship.  So we will continue with our efforts to raise funding.
