Another great meeting, this time with Laura (Griffith University Alumni)

Gary recently had another great meeting, this time with Laura Rattray-Wood of the Griffith University Alumni office.  It was a great chat about the platform and the various points of synergy between the University and the platform.  They agreed that it is a great and positive story for the platform, Griffith University and disability entrepreneurship.

Discussed was the idea of doing profiles about Gary and the platform.  Another idea is to do a call for community mentors in the University’s Alumni community.  It was a very energizing and positive conversation.  In Australia, around 20% of residents live with a disability.  This means a  significant number of Alumni will have a disability.  Given the many connections between the platform and the University, this was very exciting.

We hope to continue working with the Alumni Office to promote the valuable role disability entrepreneurship can play for individuals, the community and Australia.
